[wp-docs] Features List

Hi. I've been lurking for a few days considering volunteering some
time to the documentation project. Might I offer a suggestion? I
think that there is a need for a brief feature list with links to more
in-depth information about wordpress. And there is also a need for an
index describing everything you can do in wordpress. The first is
more marketing-oriented and the latter is more reference-oriented.
The "taxonomy and listing" on
http://wiki.wordpress.org/Features?PHPSESSID=d0bb8ee0fbf37b309679888daad4709f
looks more to me like a table of contents for a user reference manual
than a feature list while the first part of the page is more of the
marketing type stuff. There should probably even be a third kind of
feature list (albeit an indirect one): a "How do I?" kind of list.

Slightly off-topic: is there a (possibly prioritized) list somewhere
of articles in need of an author?
