LaughingLizard had a good post about this, WillM posted about forum 
guidelines, I think it would be nice to put together a little page with 
a few support guidelines, and a separate etiquette page, and maybe a 
general page. Good article to link to:

Support guidelines would lay down what should accompany support 
requests, namely a link to a phpinfo.php page on the server, what WP 
version they are using, conditions surrounding the problem.
