Hypothetically, WordPress becomes moderately popular -- about as popular
as Movable Type is now. Someone then uses the public domain WordPress
documentation as a starting point to write a copyrighted /WordPress for
dummies/ (compare <http://amazon.com/o/ASIN/067232590X>).
Publication of the book causes WordPress to become even more popular,
BUT while the book borrowed from the original documentation (because it
was public domain), new versions of the documentation can't borrow from
the book (because it's copyrighted).
So, which is more important? If increasing the number of WordPress users
is more important, choose a public domain license. If minimizing future
documentation effort is more important, choose a copyleft license.
