Hi all,

I've added a few boilerplates to our repertoire, and gone through the
entire site to mark and categorize pages that are marked with these
templates.

The full list of boilerplates is now:

{{Copyedit}}
     Article is generally complete, but language needs cleaning up.

{{Stub}}
     Article is incomplete, and needs more information.

{{merge}}, {{merge-specify}} and {{merge-section-specify}}
     Article should be merged into another article.

       - {{merge}} says only that it should be merged, and does not
         specify into which other article it should be merged.

       - {{merge-specify}} says that the article should be merged,
         but additionally takes a parameter of which other article
         into which to merge, and displays it.

       - {{merge-section-specify}} says that only the marked
         section, rather than the entire article, should be merged
         into the article named in the supplied parameter.

     The syntax to pass parameters is:

         {{merge-specify|[[This other page]]}}

     ...to merge into This_other_page.

{{Wikify}}
     Article is a "dead end" article (see Special:Deadendpages)
     without any intra-wiki links, or is lacking wiki formatting.

{{rfd}}
     Page should be removed altogether. This should be used
     sparingly, only for pages that are really obvious mistakes or
     are extraneous without being duplicates, and whose deletion
     would have no effect on other pages.

In addition, I've set up categories for each page marked with a
boilerplate, and specified that category on each page marked. The
categories are:

Category:Copyedits
Category:Stubs
Category:Merges
Category:Needs_Wikification
Category:Requests_for_deletion

In turn, each of these category pages is a subcategory of
Category:Maintenance, so if you view that page you can drill down to
see them all. I've also linked to each category from
Codex:Contributing_to_Codex, so users interested in contributing can
quickly view a list of possible improvements they can make.

When boilerplating a page, please be sure to include the appropriate
category marker so that that page will show up on its appropriate
Category page. Include it directly next to the boilerplate template so
they can both be removed at the same time, when the page no longer
qualifies for the boilerplate.

	Example: {{Stub}} [[Category:Stubs]]

A big huge pat on the back to everyone who participated in Wiki Day
yesterday. I think it was a big success!

Morgan
