[wp-docs] Mailing List Feature Req.

I don't contribute for a variety of reasons (time, distrust of wikis and 
unwillingness to deal with the hostile tone of the forums, mainly) but 
I'm here because I want to see whether any progress is being made on the 
docs, for the sake of people who use my templates as well as my own 
interest. Non-hackers get told to subscribe to the hackers list to see 
how development is progressing, why should the docs list be any different?

Of course I don't know what discussions may have been had about this 
offlist, so if official list policy is going to be that only active 
contributors are welcome, I'll bow to that and unsubscribe.
