Installing a local wiki is probably the most important thing I've done on 
a computer in the last five years. It is the first system I feel fully 
comfortable replacing paper with. I back it up regularly. I do almost all 
of my non-blog writing inside the wiki. I also keep a personal journal and 
notes about different activities and people I've met and things I want to 
remember later. Complete document management with hierarchy, search, and 
versioning? I'm sold. :)
