Agreed. It would perhaps have more impact as the last sentence on the
page.

"What a mouthful" is already an admission of awkward language. :-)

BTW, I've just noticed that wordpress.org has a "Support" tab, but the
"Donate" tab right next to it has the heading "Support WordPress".
