[wp-docs] DocBook, anyone?

Okay, got it. I'm in line with that thinking. Maybe I'll start
working towards being the long-term DocBook author. :)
So then, what about short-term solutions? How do we go about
formatting the documentation and collating it all into a single area?
Do we operate with shorter tutorials on singular subjects, with a
master linking page manually organized by topic, or do we try to
collaboratively work on a larger documentation set that would be a
large, expansive document?
I would assume, based on what I've seen in evidence so far, that the
tutorial route is the short-term answer, with a larger documentation
set (to be funneled into a DocBook set at a later date) as the
long-term aspiration. Getting at least marginal official documentation
out there would be a great start, even if it is in small bits and
pieces for the time being.
Is someone currently collating this information? Or can I step forward
and offer to do so at this point?
Just remember that if the "new guys" are shooting too high, you'll have
to shoot us down at some point. :) I'd rather aim high on the goal
scale and have to scale back rather than be mediocre.
