Cena,
You hit the nail right on the head! Also, one thing that I did not know,
<hides under the desk as he types this> is that the FAQs have already been
updated with some of the stuff we have already worked on! LOL!
Call me "Homer" and stuff a doughnut in my mouth...
I REALLY like the CSS stuff; it's becoming a bit of a passion for me, so I
would be happy to do what you suggest. I will also look at a couple more of
the FAQ blank spots and post which ones I am working on. Then, once I've got
a draft down, I'll post it here for input from everyone.
It's good to have these refocus chats now and then, eh? :)
Craig.

Craig,
I know what you mean about not wanting to duplicate efforts, etc, as
well as your earlier point about this time of year not being conducive
to getting much done. I think part of the problem is that we (the
non-dev listmembers) are probably waiting for someone (like Ye Olde
Grande WordPress PooBah) to say, Craig, do this, Cena do that. However,
I think that as 'regular users' we're in a better position sometimes to
tell what needs documenting. (The downside of this is that sometimes I
may know that I personally could use more documentation on subject X,
but not have enough knowledge to write it myself.) The index helps a
little in that you can quickly scan through and see what topics have
already been addressed in the forums, but the index itself is becoming
somewhat unwieldly (it's at 7 (single-spaced!) pages as of today..might
need an index of the index! :))
Okay, I'm rambling. Maybe we could just say, hey, I"m gonna work on
project X, and send it in when you're done. For example, Craig, you
seem to be doing a lot in the forums on CSS; maybe you could write up a
dissection of wp-layout.css . I know that I for one would find that
kind of thing very useful.
I think I'll start working on a 'common install errors' faq next.
Cena
